Chapter 1: What happened at the Clash in Italy?
welcome to the busted open after dark podcast i'm your host tommy dreamer the bloodline has been acknowledged right there in italy and i'm going to talk about it right now this is the busted open podcast i'm going to start off with the bloodline and then i'm gonna just take everything from this weekend right uh Starts off with Clash of Italy. Solid, solid show. I watched the entire pre-show of
which I never do, but just wanted to see the feel. And I really thought it had this big match feel, big show feel. And the fans throughout both nights have been awesome for both shows, the pay-per-view and tonight's Monday Night Raw. Then I watched the free... Show on ESPN, on SportsCenter, Cody Gunther and Rhea and Jade Cargill. Really, really enjoyed those matches.
Then we go to those more SmackDown-centric matches. Then we get to the story where the last, you know, the bloodline and where Jacob Fatu has to acknowledge Roman Reigns if he loses. If he wins, nothing much. The match was really good. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it a lot. Obviously, Roman Reigns wins.
This is our thread going into tonight's, or today for us, but tonight for Italy's Monday Night Raw. And we open up with, said that, the bloodline. Here comes Jimmy. Here comes Jay. And then here comes Roman. They get out of the nice suburban. Music hits. They walk to the ring. Walk to the ring. Again, overseas crowds, they're into everything. It is such an honor to perform overseas.
Not that it's not an honor to perform here in the States, but... It's just different because they don't receive it that much. And it's cool to see how much love pro wrestling gets across the world, but that a lot of wrestlers get to experience other cultures. And for me, for Italy, I never went there until, yes, I got to WWE. And then I've been there so many times.
Hell, one year I went there four times in one year. And that audience is special. And you heard that specialness, like I said, at Clash, as well as you heard The Specialist tonight on Monday Night Raw. Roman, straight up, I mean, it took forever. Just because they were praising them so, so much, singing songs, being really into the show. I love how Jey Uso just was like, yo, let's get to this.
And then here comes Jacob Fatu. Jacob Fatu's music hits and they go crazy for Jacob. There's very little heels on Monday Night Raw or when you're overseas. They're just into everything.
Yeah!
Exactly, David. But hey, if you got to go with it, you got to go for it. You can't go against the grain sometimes because it's just not going to work. You think there's going to be this big, big... And again, I keep saying this. I have to throw out my... You have to throw out everything, really. Like what you believe, what you want to see. Heels, baby faces, because...

Chapter 2: How did the RAW audience react to the Bloodline's performance?
And now the questions would be... do you think we're going to see Jacob being mistreated? Are you going to see Jacob be treated like he was in the past? Or like a subservient pet, like Roman said he was going to treat him? Or are you going to treat everybody as equals, like how Roman has said, I have to deal with... Roman said, like, I'm going to like a dog on a leash.
So that's how I say this whole thing has to play out. You know, I didn't agree with the the go home promo with Roman and Jacob or Jacob's like, hey, I'm going to win, win, because if I win, I'm head of the family. And if I lose, I still have a job. But like, that's what I'm saying. It's I watched something that I loved, like the baseball game. I had no vested interest.
And then at the end of it, I enjoyed it. And this bloodline thing, because now I'm saying to myself, who are their opponents? Because they're running this place. There are no four horsemen right now to challenge them. And, you know, Solos group, they're not pushed or big enough to get there. Could it be a vision? But the vision's banged up right now. So who is this super group?
And I can't say heels or baby faces. I just have to say who is big enough to go after this group from where we are and where we were at. And it's time, we'll see. And of course, Nation, I want to hear from you, 877-344-4893, who you think, because this group is getting stronger.
and i mean do you think it's time for braun breaker because i truly see something in him they're already thinking of braun versus oba's like a dream match like is he's a guy in your radar as somebody that could take down the bloodline or do you think the numbers game will get to braun if it was a healthy vision and a clearly pushed vision sure
But again, this is a fractured vision. It's so fractured to, you know, I'll get into what we saw with Paul Heyman and I'll get into that entire main event. So I say no for that question that you're answering, that you're asking. I don't know who it is.
If it's Cody and a group of baby faces, again, if I go Four Horsemen style, Dusty Rhodes was the catalyst to all of this, and he had to go with, you know, Nikita Koloff, originally supposed to be Magnum, but it's Nikita, then the Road Warriors, and everyone, you know, has to, all these superpowers have to get together to take down this heel group.
I don't know who these superpowers are in WWE, unless it's Cody and a Seth and a somebody and a somebody because I just got to go with top, top talent. Coming up next, Obafemi destroys the competition and wants to reclaim his ruler of the world. We have the king and queen of the ring and the first round matchup on the men's side.
I guess we're doing, and it shows you just how deep this roster is for WWE. And, you know, they let go of, what, 20 people? And look how... much depth when you could have four, four ways to get to a four way to get to, you know, the singles of, of, uh, you know, the finals, uh, in Saudi. Um, so we have on paper, awesome match solo Penta Carmelo and Oba, right. Um, man,

Chapter 3: What was the significance of Jacob Fatu acknowledging Roman Reigns?
But again, when you Oba really, really came back from a loss with a dominant, dominant performance and so many people, like I said. You get hung up on a lot of things. And I get it because we're passionate and we love it. But you can't just, not everybody could go undefeated. It doesn't hurt your momentum to take a loss because yes, you got Italy. But yes, you got the King of the Ring.
Yes, you got SummerSlam. Yes, you got Survivor Series. You got the Royal Rumble. And oh yeah, you have WrestleMania again. So that's the positioning and sometimes how you have to think.
