Bye Bye Panic

I Almost Got Kicked Off a Plane Because of My Anxiety

25 Dec 2024

Description

Anxiety recovery is never a smooth, linear path. Mine was no exception. If you’ve ever thought I had everything figured out from the start, let me tell you – it was far from that. My journey was messy, and looking back, there are moments I can laugh about now but felt absolutely mortifying at the time. From convincing myself I had mad cow disease, to planning a water fast while I was already severely underweight, to almost getting kicked off a flight mid-panic attack – these moments were rough. They were awkward. But they were also part of the process, showing just how unpredictable recovery can be.Even when you know the principles of recovery, it doesn’t mean you’ll get everything right the first time – or avoid a few cringe-worthy situations along the way. But these stories remind me how far I’ve come, and they can remind you that even the messiest journeys can lead to healing.Tune into this episode to hear the full stories and takeaways from my most awkward moments, and why I wouldn’t trade them for anything now.Key Takeaways:Intro (00:00)First panic attack at work and early confusion (00:40)Self-diagnosis with mad cow disease (01:31)Considering extreme water fasting in Costa Rica (04:15)Intense panic attack during a flight to Greece (07:48)Recovery setbacks despite understanding the principles (12:15)Additional Resources:➡️ To accelerate your recovery journey, book a call to see if the mentorship with Shaan's team will help your specific situation ➡️ Get access to the Desensitization Blueprint  ➡️ FREE E-BOOK  ---Follow me on social media: 🔹 Instagram 🔹 Facebook 🔹 LinkedIn
