Mathieu Perreault, Christian Dvorak, Ben Chiarot returned to practice. Tyler Pitlick will not join the team immediately as his wife is about to give birth. Carey Price did not skate this week. He continued to train in the gym as part of his rehab program. Ben Chiarot was placed on injured reserve. The Canadiens recalled Corey Schueneman from the Laval. It is likely that Chiarot will play on Sunday. The Canadiens acquired goaltender Andrew Hammond. Hammond was recalled from the AHL. Hammond will make his Canadiens debut against NYI on Sunday.
