The Hurricanes picked up where they left off in Los Angeles in their 6-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. Yes, the Canes beat the Kings Saturday night, but they played very poorly in doing so. Sunday night Carolina was dreadful in the 1st period in falling behind 3-0, a score that would prove insurmountable. However, they did make the game very interesting in the 3rd period. Teuvo Teravainen scored two goals, the Canes also found the net twice on the power play and Antti Raanta recovered from a bad start to finish the game strong. They'll be back on the ice on Tuesday night in San Jose.
