Martin Necas scored twice and assisted on another as the Hurricanes broke their 3-game losing streak with a 3-2 OT win over Seattle. Necas scored his 3rd of the season late in the 1st period to cut a 2-goal deficit in half. Then with less than 5 minutes to play, he found Jesperi Kotkaniemi in the slot for the goal that brought Carolina even at 2. Then with under 10 seconds left in overtime, Necas took a pass from Tony DeAngelo and whipped home the game winner. Carolina will try to win their second straight when they host San Jose on Friday night.
