Keep Shooting What You Love with Performing Arts Photographer, Daniel Boud

15 Sep 2020

Description

Daniel Boud has been an inspiration of Jarrad's for a long time — it was actually Daniel's blog post on concert photography tips that got Jarrad through his first gig shooting a music festival many years ago.  We can see why Dan is such an inspiration to many! He's known for his sophisticated, emotive use of lighting and striking portraiture, and has an extensive portfolio of talent spanning across musicians, actors, dancers, drag queens, athletes, chefs, artists and more. As well as being Time Out Sydney’s Chief Photographer, Dan works regularly with many of Australia’s top performing arts organisations including Sydney Theatre Company, The Australian Ballet, and Sydney Opera House. In this episode Jarrad and Dan discuss why you shouldn't lose sight of shooting what you love and the importance of sharing knowledge with your community. Daniel also touches on how creativity helped him move forward during life lockdown.  Enjoy!
