Chapter 2: How does Landon reflect on the Vancouver Canucks' draft strategy?
I mean, we're just losing our minds watching the first half before the show began. Spoiler alert for anybody who's not watching live and...
I mean, it's... I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen.
Oh, Canada! That's incredible. That's fantastic. 3-0. Yeah. 3-0. Yeah!
This is amazing. Intense. Intense. It feels like from where our studios are to where BC Place is, it feels like there's a cool... party down the block from us.
Chapter 3: What are the latest updates on the 2026 NHL Draft prospects?
Yeah. And we're like the neighbors are like, oh, I wish we had an invitation to that party over there for the next 45 minutes. And we get to talk about the Vancouver Canucks. Which is awesome too, by the way. Yeah. In this moment, it's a little less awesome. There's a big party happening down the street right now. Yeah, that is unbelievable. What a first 45.
Yeah, unreal, unreal. And we'll keep you abreast on the situation and how that all goes and where things are at with the match.
Also, as I was saying to you, it's like some peak hockey goals.
Yeah.
Between Kyle Lahren's deflection shot that went in on Bosnia, today, like rebound goals and crash in the net. Mucking it up in the crease.

Chapter 4: What role does player development play in the Canucks' future?
Yeah, man. It feels like some Canada goals right there.
You know how we talk so much about outnumbering the opponent in front of the net? Like, you see a 2v1, get the puck on the goal. You see two people inside the five-yard box, get in. Get in. Get in. Man, it's been crashing the net, mucking it up, winning in the crease, body position. Man, I just love it. Absolutely sensational stuff so far from Canada.
And obviously, we're hoping they hold on to win. And, you know, obviously, because the match before Bosnia and Switzerland, Switzerland coming through with a big victory, 4-1. 0-0 in the 70th minute.
And then five goals thereafter. I tell you, this World Cup has been unbelievable.
Chapter 5: How does the coaching change impact the Canucks' young players?
Yeah, it's been nuts. And, you know, if Canada gets one more goal... They're in a position where even a draw against Switzerland, the final match of the group stage, would mean they would win the division, the group, and be first in the group.
This is the ideal scenario here, right? Like, you match Switzerland's total, and now you go into the final match potentially again, 45 minutes to go here. But you got the scenario developing of mutually assured advancement with Switzerland, where you can have one of these dull nil-nil matches and like, hey, let's not pick up any yellows. Let's not injure each other.
We both know what's at stake here. Let's just get through it. If there's opportunities, okay, they present themselves. But you might see a very, very safe match on the 24th.
Yeah, you might, and you nailed it, and I think that's what we'll see. Now, obviously, Canada still has to have the gold differential, still have to go here, but good vibes, man. The city's going to be absolutely on fire.
Voyager's out early today, and it's been awesome to see all the scenes.

Chapter 6: What are the challenges facing the Canucks in the upcoming season?
I drove a different route in, so I was like, I'm avoiding it all. I'd love to go and watch it all, but I didn't want to be late or anything like that, so I was like, you know what?
What a day it's been. Yeah. Tyler asks us, what is more likely in the next 12 years? Canucks make a cup final or Team Canada makes the semifinals of a World Cup? I mean, they have the opportunity now. Yeah. You know, the Canucks are not playing. Ergo. Ergo? We are five minutes into this show. We got an ergo. All right. Let's go to the Able.
Chapter 7: How do the Canucks plan to navigate player trades and acquisitions?
We are senseless today. It's going to be absolutely bonkers. Let's go to the Able Auctions hotline and welcome in our next guest. It is Landon Ferraro, former NHL and current Sportsnet analyst. Were you watching the first half of the match there, Landon?
No, I chose to sit in traffic instead. Oh, no. It's been a great choice so far.
Yeah.
I hear the game's not entertaining at all or anything.
No, nothing's happened. You haven't missed anything. Yeah. Nothing. Except for like three goals, but that's all right.

Chapter 8: What predictions can be made about the NHL Draft outcomes?
That's all right. That's all right. Hey, at least you're here to talk some hockey with us, right?
There we go. I couldn't think of anything better. Boys, let's do it.
Yeah, and obviously on the 100% Canucks podcast that you and Shannon do, you guys had Manny Malhotra on. I know you put that out on social media today. What was your big takeaway having a nice long chat with Manny, the new head coach of the Canucks?
I mean, it's more of the same, and I don't mean that in a bad way, right? I mean, I've known Manny for a decent amount of time, and just hearing the reinforcements, but hearing him talk about... asking, you know, you're coaching in the American League and now you're coaching like a startup rebuild. There has to be some similarities there, even though one's in the NHL and not.
And just seeing how thoughtful he is through all of his answers. And, you know, when John Shannon brought up something towards the end of the interview, when we had Manny on just before training camp this past season, he was really serious in his answers and you know, kind of really direct and all of it.
And today there's like, he's smiling so much and he's got this energy when he's talking about working with the guys and the future of the team and how excited he is to get to work. And then all of that again, to me,
The best part of this change for the organization, I know it's just talk right now, but you can see the excitement and the willingness to get to work instead of the serious, we have business to take care of. It just has a different air to it. And there was a lot of that today again.
What are the first things you're going to be looking for as far as like, okay, what either the environment changed, vibes, stylistic changes on the ice, like what are the first markers you're going to be looking for of what a Manny environment looks like?
Small details of the game. He brought it up multiple times. Again, today he has in the past since he's been as named head coach of like board battles, second efforts on pucks, like the effort defensively, all those things that it doesn't matter your skill level. Those are like willingness and understanding the situation and being hard to play against.
