Jeffrey Tran MD is a bright, young ophthalmologist in Georgia who decided to start his own solo private practice. He did medical school at Emory and then ophthalmology residency at Baylor, so he is well-versed in working hard at those large academic teaching hospitals. He also joined a group practice as his first job, but soon found that he wanted more. A solo private practice allows him to be his own boss, spend more time with his family, and give his patients a higher level of care. He goes through the steps of setting up his solo practice and we even feature his video presentation of this at the end of the podcast/video. If you are even thinking about this option, this podcast will give you the important information that you need.
