In this Chai Time show, we talk to award winning Hindi poetess, journalist and activist, Dr. Anita Kapoor Anitaji has been active in the field of journalism for a very long time in India as well as United States. She actively contributes to various magazines and newspapers in India and USA. Currently, she is the chief editor of the Hindi monthly newspaper Yaadein. She has penned many beautiful poems and her publications include poetry collection, Bikhare Moti, Kadambari, Achute Swar, Sanson ke hastakshar and a haiku collection, Darpan ke Sawaal. She is very active in various organizations in Bay Area serving the South Asian communities to promote Indian heritage and culture. She is currently president of Vishwa Hindi Jyoti, which is working to promote Hindi Language and culture in USA. Most recently, she was Editor for the Poetry for NRI section of Delhi Film Festival where she was part of the organizing committee. In this episode of Chai Time we talk to Anitaji about her life, thoughts and her work. We will also listen to some of her poems.
