Not everyone who has survived so far in this dangerous world is a very good person; there is an implied threat of sexual assault (not by the hero) and some discussion of this as a societal concern. There are themes of reproductive rights, ableism, gender equality, and LGBTQ equality. SEX CONTENT: There is a lot of sex in this book, all with explicit and enthusiastic consent. The hero is dominant, and the heroine is submissive.
