Afraid of Failure - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1714

This was the post that I spoke about from Friday’s show and it comes from Greg Berge (@gb1121) where he shares his video from an NBA legend, Doug Collins.  “Too many kids today are afraid of failure.” Doug Collins reminds us that “Failure isn’t the end. It’s the lesson. It’s how you grow, learn, and get tougher. Every champion has failed; they just refused to stay there.”  Now of course it hits differently hearing the clip instead of me just talking about it or reading the quotes.  The big motivating factor from this lesson is that since we all fail, every single one of us, many times a day - this should fire us up to see the opportunities we have to grow, learn, improve, etc., every single day!  I know that I need to hear this lesson again as I tend to forget the chances I have to really improve myself and my life, whenever failure hits.
