Ep. 19 - The Red Shirts - Throne of Glass 2/5

This week we are discussing chapters 11-22 of Sarah J Maas' Throne of Glass book, the first in the series of the same name. This week we get into the competition that Celaena has signed up for, there are survivoresque challenges, lots of training and murder! We also see Celaena opening up to Chaol and Prince Dorian about her past a little bit and in her head a bit more. We learn about a past lover she sorely misses: Sam, her love of music and how easily she can lose herself in it and a little bit about her horrible upbringing under Arobynn. There is also some insight into each of the main men, some jealousy between them even though they are bffs and the real groundwork for a love triangle. We read about a daring rescue and we get to see even more of Celaena's skills.
