Comedy Whodunnits - for your ears

Crimes Against Christmas, Trailer

12 Nov 2020

Description

We're Heather Westwell and Feargus Woods Dunlop, together we are New Old Friends, and we create comedy theatre. Normally at this time of year we would be building our Christmas show. But, because of Covid-19, this year we aren’t. So we’re doing something different. Aided by the wonderfully talented Fred Riding, we are recording a new version of our 2016 show, Crimes Against Christmas as a comedy audio drama; part audio book, part radio play. All nonsense. We will release a chapter a day from the 1st to the 24th of December as a sort of audio advent calendar. It’s our gift to you, hope you like it.  Crimes Against Christmas is loosely inspired by Agatha Christie's Then There Were None. A group of strangers are gathered on an island for a festive celebration including our hero, art investigator Peter Artridge, who thinks he was invited to solve the case of the Fabergé Bauble. But things take a sinister turn when his fellow guests begin to be bumped off in increasingly mysterious and hilarious Christmassy ways.
