Killing off ‘Wokeism Accusation’ in Mining

We talk specifically about carbon neutrality and environment  in mining (yes, it touches ESG and sustainability), we try to answer a specific question ‘why is carbon neutrality important in mining? A CEO posted on social media that his company had spent more time and money than ever before on his ESG and net zero carbon targets and published a report and nothing…not a flicker in the market. No effect on trading, no glowing reviews… nothing. Was he right to be annoyed? We ask what’s the problem that they are trying to fix by being carbon neutral? And what are the real world examples of the benefits of pursuing this. Are mining activists important part of the mining ecosystem? Why does regulation, oversight of certification like Ecologo matter?
