Francie ::: Trauma and the Feldenkrais Method®

Francie White achieved her Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma in 1992. Living in her head took a toll on her body. She had also experienced early childhood trauma. She began working with a Feldenkrais® practitioner, Dr. Leah Berne, in 2009 who turned out to be a retired Jungian analyst. She said that the body holds trauma. Francie spent seven years working with Dr. Berne and started the Feldenkrais training in 2015 in Eugene, Oregon. She finished in 2018 and immediately began training in Somatic Experiencing® from the work of Peter Levine. She finished that training in 2021. She is also a certified practitioner of HeartMath®. Her greatest strength in her practice is the integrative nature of her training and experience.
