She is the founder of Free Hearts Free Minds which is an organization that provides mental health services for LGBTQ+ individuals along with freethinkers in Muslim majority countries. She is the author of her memoir, Unveiled. She also serves on the board of Humanist Global Charity and Atheists for Liberty.
