Two friends eating and drinking their way through Glint –Book 2 of the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy! SPOILERS FOR BOOKS 1-5 Recipes for food and cocktails mentioned in this episode:Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients:2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened¾ cup granulated sugar¾ cup packed brown sugar (I use light brown)2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract2 large eggs2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Instructions:Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugars, butter, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and stir to combine. Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips (and nuts) with a spatula. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 ½ to 11 minutes or until golden brown, 9 ½ will give you a softer cookie, if you like it a bit crisper bake for 11 to 12 minutes.
