303.492.9018 | [email protected] -- EPISODE 55: Ethan Poskanzer (Colorado) and the Consequences of Workplace Protest Participation Previously on Creative Distillation: it was the Great Pumpkin Beer Episode, recorded on location in Jeff’s gaming dungeon. He and Brad were joined by CU Assistant Professor for Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Operations, Ethan Poskanzer, conducting field research in the form of a ranked tasting of several pumpkin beers. This time, we're still in Jeff's gaming dungeon, discussing Ethan's recent paper, "The Career Consequences of Workplace Protest Participation: Theory and Evidence from the NFL 'Take a Knee' Movement". Ethan breaks down the research on employee activism, how it can influence an individual’s organizational and labor market mobility outcomes. They investigate this premise with the 2016 National Football League “take a knee” protests as a strategic research setting. Enjoy and cheers! We hope you enjoyed this episode of Creative Distillation, recorded on location in Jeff’s gaming dungeon in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
