Pam Smart: Another Chance at Freedom?

Appeals exhausted, Pamela Smart files a petition to compel the governor and Executive Council to reconsider giving her a commutation hearing. This too,  fails. The  state Supreme Court unanimously dismissed the petition for lack of jurisdiction. Smart was convicted of conspiracy to murder in the June 1, 1990, shooting death of her 24-year-old husband in their Derry condominium.
