Dublin Firefighter Terence Crosbie has been sent to a Supermax prison in the US - despite 88 pages of character references being handed into a judge at his sentencing hearing.Crosbie was jailed for at least 7 years after a jury found him guilty of rape a woman in a hotel in Boston on St Patrick’s Day weekend last year.Niall speaks to Sunday Independent crime correspondent Ali Bracken about the emotional letters handed in on his behalf as the fireman plans to appeal the verdict.
