After a legendary career in psychology, he is known for a very innovative study at Stanford University. A group of students, who were about to get quite a surprise, were randomly assigned be either guards or prisoners. In this episode we look back at Zimbardo’s life and the surprising outcomes of some of his most controversial research on the dynamics of incarceration.
