L'han apallissat, l'han cremat amb cera d'espelma i l'han deixat lligat a les baranes del llit. És un home gran i està molt malferit. És Àngel Vila, de 77 anys. A la zona tothom el coneix com l'Angelet. Els veïns el descriuen com un home bo i solitari que mai no ha fet mal a ningú. Qui pot haver atacat de forma tan cruel l'Angelet? La masia on viu està tota regirada i hi falten diners.
