Open is up - will it stay this way? Market update 1-26-22

$MSFT earnings last night may have been a trigger for a positive market today. $T also had positive earnings and $BA earnings were good despite the one time charges and write downs. On days like today, trading is preferred. Invest on down days.  I don't think the downside pressure is over. The only reason you're going up is because it's sold off so much. Some of the biggest movers of the morning are the most beaten down stocks.  UVXY was a good trade yesterday, but SVXY might be a better one today. Jerome Powell speaking at around 2pm is what will really tell us where the market will end the day.  I still think long term your best buys right now are $MSFT, $FB, $GOOGL (Make sure to buy GOOGL since that includes voting rights and GOOG does not).
