Before founding Medex, Bert served as a Managing Director at digital asset management consulting firm, AVP and as a digital archivist for the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Bert's clients include the FBI, Smithsonian, Library of Congress, HBO, Paramount Pictures, University of Kentucky, Indiana University, and Facebook.Bert speaks and writes as an expert on the topic of content authenticity frequently and is engaged in the Content Authenticity Initiative and the C2PA working group. He is also an Associate Member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) and an active member of the Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence (SWGDE). He has received certification from the Academy of Certified Archivists and is a graduate of the Archives Leadership Institute.
