Okay. And the answer to that, and Amin knows what I'm going to say. It's simple faith and trust in Christ. Jesus said, if you're going to follow me, you'll have to deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow me. Now, picking up the cross is an allusion to all sorts of ways of self-negation. But you have to make God's will your will.
You have to want his thoughts to be your thoughts and to live a life pleasing to him. That's not a perfectionist journey. It's a journey of faith of the Bible talks about gradually being transformed into the image of Christ. That can take a lifetime. It certainly can take a lot of years or months.
But it means just stepping off one path to the other path by saying what Romans 10, 9 and 10 in the Bible tells us to say. It says, If you believe in your heart that God has raised Christ from the dead and you confess it with your mouth, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes the righteousness of God. With the mouth he makes confession to that truth. Now I've added a few words.

Do I have to go to confession? Do I have to confess my sins to anybody? To God. Just to God. Here and now. You know what they are. I confess my sins on every podcast. I don't hide anything.
Of course you have sins. My first sin is rejecting Christ.
