We forget that we are allowed to make bad art, we are allowed to play, we are allowed to take risks and we are allowed to fail. A wall towards the bigger vision is built of many bricks, and I am constantly reminding myself that not every work needs to be everything.Join me in the studio as I walk you through some of the creative risks I have made this week.As I move closer towards the completion of my latest painting discernment becomes a slow but integral part to the process. At this stage each individual mark becomes a question to be answered.How does this mark make me feel?Do I feel restricted, or more expansive?In order hear the creative solutions we must first remember that in order to have self expression, we must first have a self to express. As we lose our vagueness about ourself, our values, our life situation, we become available to the moment.
