Data Driven F1

Season 1976

05 Nov 2021

Description

1976 was the unique year in the history of Formula1. There were many things to remember. In November 1975, Graham Hill and the core of his F1 team died in the tragic plane crash. At the beginning of the season, we saw the remarkable return of Alfa Romeo after the 25-year break from Formula 1. This was also the first year for six-wheelers in Formula 1. And, of course, the year was marked by the on-track duel between the two remarkable driving talents – Hunt and Lauda. Ganna Pogrebna and Patrick Henz provide their view on the 1976 F1 season.
