Weina stops by to talk about her bestselling novel The Last Rose of Shanghai. I've read a lot of World War II fiction and this is a look at that war from a whole new angle from the setting of Shanghai. A love story at it's core between a Chinese woman who defies society and family  constraints to run a night club and a Jewish refugee who is caring for his sister and plays jazz piano in night clubs.
