Indecisiveness & Fear of Commitment: Learning to make decisions

In this episode, I share about another “creative-block power couple”. These blocks are some of the traps that we often succumb to as creative souls, but in understanding them, we become more equipped to navigate them. Today we’ll talk about indecisiveness and our fear of commitment. It can be very easy to get sidetracked and influenced by too many external sources, especially when trying to “find the right way”. This is often due to our lack of confidence towards our general ability to make decisions. Rather than finding the right decision, it’s more important to find the right decision for us and the right decision, right now. Making decisions and committing can also feel very restrictive and overwhelming, but that’s only if what we’re committing to isn’t something that stems from our own desires. Let’s declutter all the shoulds and talk about how indecisiveness and fear of commitment can steer us off course. Here are some prompts for you to reflect on during the episode: Prompts Do you tend to go back and forth on a decision, to the point of feeling dizzy? Do you find yourself turning to outside sources for decision-making? In looking at how you invest your time and energy what can you honestly say are you committed to? What are these commitments?
