Understanding Schizophrenia with Dr. Xavier Amador

Previously, he was a Professor of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, as well as Director of Psychology at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. He was also co-chair of the Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders section for the DSM-IV-TR. He is currently founder of the LEAP Institute, which aims to bridge understanding and foster treatment acceptance among those who may not recognize their mental health challenges.
