Today, I’m joined by Sara Schairer, and we're talking about Inspiring Compassionate Leadership. Sara is the founder and executive director of COMPASSION IT, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire daily compassionate actions and attitudes. She is a Stanford-certified instructor of Compassion Cultivation Training and has taught at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness, Kaiser Permanente, the Naval Medical Center, and in Africa. She is actively working with businesses to develop more compassionate workplaces. She is the author of a new book called A Case for Compassion: What Happens When We Prioritize People and the Planet.
