Jo's blog, The Tokyo Chapter, was born from a popular 'tokyo with kids' style Instagram account and after many friends ( and friends of friends) asked for tried and tested Tokyo tips. On her blog, Jo shares little moments and joys that make her life in Tokyo a magical family adventure. After living in Japan for 8 years, beginning with one year as a high school student in the Japanese countryside, Jo, an Australian fluent in Japanese, met her Scottish husband and, due to his work commitments moved away from Japan, only to return several years later with a toddler and a new baby. Jo understands the excitement and challenges facing expats, or travelers, to Japan for the first time, with and without children, and uses her blog as a space to share all of her Tokyo tips and shortcuts through area suggestion guides, Japanese language learning advice and a collection of personal pieces.
