02 Dec 2020

Description

Having trouble with clients not paying your graphic design invoices? We've got the tips! There's nothing that's going to make you start hating on your graphic design business more than clients not paying. Sometimes our business finances require a delicate balance and when clients don't pay, it can push your graphic design business (and you) to the edge. In this episode: Kris shares when her client did not pay and she had to use a last resort secret weapon...and it worked! Don shares where she successfully negotiated with a large client who had unrealistically long payment terms. We also share our key tips and scripts that have ensured we have been paid 99% of the time throughout our careers. With over 4 decades of graphic design business experience, we are pretty good at getting paid.  We can count on one hand (collectively) the clients who didn't pay up—these problems occurred early on in business when we were quite green and didn't have the systems we needed in place to protect us. In this episode we share all the tips to help you get the same results!   RESOURCES Click here for full show notes.  If you are struggling with the confidence to charge what you're worth—our totally free Graphic Design Pricing Guide will empower you.
