90. Should graphic designers be brand strategy experts?

In this episode we chat about whether or not graphic designers need to be brand strategists in order to be successful.  With all the buzzwords and confusion surrounding 'branding' and 'brand strategy', it's understandable that many designers feel overwhelmed and unclear about their role in all of this. We want you to know that as a designer, you don't have to be everything to everyone. You can still be successful and charge higher prices without becoming a brand strategist.  It's about finding the right balance and using a process that is enjoyable for both you and your clients.
