S1 E4 - How to Prepare Your Windshield for Snow(Ice)/Rain/Fog

Join me to find out how to best prepare your windshield for your rough CNY weather.  Here are directions to make your at-home windshield water repellent. Of course you can always purchase Prestone De-Icer from your local Walmart or Amazon.   What You Need: Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) Filtered water Measuring cup Spray bottle Rag 100 ml graduated cylinder Ethanol Silicone oil or castor oil Graduated cylinder Simple Solution Pour half a cup of rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle. Add 1 cup of filtered water to the spray bottle. Swirl the bottle to mix the two ingredients. The bottle may feel warm. Wait until it cools before putting on the cap. Spray the solution onto the exterior of a clean and dry  windshield. Use a clean, dry rag to wipe the windshield until it is  completely dry.
