In conversation with Nepal-based Shreejana Bajracharya. She has worked for young people's sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) with various NGOs and INGOs with a human rights based approach. She is one of the young leaders alumni at Women Deliver and youth champions at Asia Safe Abortion Partnership. A feminist advocating for safe and legal abortion, she is a co-founder of YoSHAN, a young country advocacy network in Nepal.  She speaks to us about laws around SRHR, the role of public private partnerships, and how great policies often fall short of implementation. Also on why dignified menstruation and safe motherhood need to be talked about and kept in focus. She discusses the impact of the pandemic on SRHR services, and the importance of linkages between education and health systems.
