Episode 39: SDG 9- Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

In this episode of DevDive, we dive into SDG 9- its targets, progress, challenges, and way ahead. We talk about the long standing issue of balacing development with sutainability, and discuss what is means of different countries. We speak about inequality in innovation and industry, and what the future could hold. Like in every episode, we also ask our guest about his development-dream. We are in conversation with Dr. Kent Kamasumba who is an expert on Sustainability. Dr. Kent has a PhD in Global Governance and Development from Seoul National University, He is currently a visiting scholar at SNU Asia Center. His expertise lies in Sustainability, Political Economy, and Environmental, social and governance [ESG], focusing on East Asia and Africa, and he aspires to forge pathways for sustainable development and policy innovation in these regions. Sustainability has been a part of his entire professional life, beginning as an international affairs coordinator at Seoul University where he helped drive research, funding and sustainable developments for students in Zambia.
