256 - Buying the Farm with Tom Pegg

In this week’s episode, Andrew sits down with the latest and newest member of the Dewing Grain team; Tom Pegg, who has been recruited for farm buying. Tom talks about his experience in the industry so far and how he came to work for Dewing Grain.Market Report w/c Monday 9th October. In this week’s market report, Andrew talks about how last week's oil seed rape market declined and how he was advised by his experts that it could be due to macroeconomic problems such as people withdrawing their money because of the cost of living crisis getting people to invest less. Right now this is the optimum time for planting wheat and certainly any cereal planting which has been happening across the UK with perfect weather conditions. Which means the farming community are working ungodly hours.The next Dewing Grain walk is on Tuesday 31st October at 2pm, the location is TBC.
