This week Andrew delivers the market report for week beginning 20th January with a slightly more gravelly voice than usual after the Norfolk Dinner. Brian Rigney a scientist from within the 2 Blades research group at the Sainsbury Laboratory comes in to have a chat with producer Claire about his work on the genetic modification of the soya bean to try and control a rust pathogen in South America. He also talks about the difference between gene modification and editing and his thoughts on how the UK should go forward with the legislation on this. But it is when we get this Irishman on to potatoes that we learn where his real passion lies!
