Anthony Kieran is Co-Founder of Used Cars NI, which trades one billion pounds worth of cars annually. He is also the MD at Aurient LTD and Proprietor of The Regency, five star luxury residence in Belfast. Hailing from Crossmaglen, County Armagh, experiencing the effects of the Troubles first hand as well as a traumatic school life at St Colman’s Secondary School, gave him the drive to want to make something of his life. There aren’t too many people who can say they have worked at NASA but Anthony made the best of his time in America earning great money and playing Gaelic Football. He travelled the world and then returned home to a situation where he had no job.  In this episode Anthony talks of his traumatic start in life and how these experiences set him up as a determined young man wanting to make something of himself. He explains why he moved to America and what he learned from this experience. As Co-Founder of Used Cars NI, he shares how he met his business partner and how they overcame all the negativity when they first started the business.
