Louise Conn is CEO of Benone Getaways, a four star luxury glamping village and two beautiful self catering apartments, situated within walking distance of a seven mile blue flag beach, one of Northern Ireland's most popular along the North Coast. They are one of the main sponsors of series four of The Digg Podcast. The glamping village houses six pods, four of which have their own hot tubes. All pods have access to a private outdoor fire pit, their own picnic table and a BBQ Hut ‘The Chill and Grill’ that can be used by guests to cook a meal or enjoy a glass of bubbly around the fire. In this episode, Louise shares her background story of how on returning from her world travels, led to proposing an idea, back home on the farm to her father, which in turn has led to the successful business that is Benone Getaways. She talks about the type of research she did in order to make sure that she was providing accommodation that people actually wanted to stay in. She shares the steps she took to make it happen, what they do to stand out amongst competitors and collaborations that they have embarked on to make their offerings stronger. As a new business, Louise shares what their most effective marketing techniques are to date and also how they are working to overcome areas they struggle with within the business.
