kind of went down this journey of trying to seek deliverance. And everywhere I kind of asked was like, what are you talking about, dude? Like, you're a Christian, you can't have a demon. First one I did, ineffective deliverance. Seeked another, I was like, no, I got to keep seeking. Another ineffective deliverance. Finally, I'm reading this book, Holy Spirit Led.
It is one of the most true books I've ever read and the most impactful book on my life. This chick that wrote this book, Eleanor, is the only person that's going to be able to help me. If Eleanor cannot help me, no one can help me, and I don't have demons, and that's that. Sure enough... Demon skin cash out of me left and right.
All right, guys, we got Jacob here from Arizona. Thanks for flying in today, man. Thank you for having me, Sean. This is amazing. Yeah, and I know you're crushing it on business and you're getting started with your social media journey. So this is good timing to get your message out.
Yeah, seriously, I'm eternally grateful for you having me. And I was just like, the first question I was curious, like what made me attracted to like be on the show? Yeah, I stumbled across your content and I felt like what you were providing on the videos was valuable. Heck yeah. And we'll dive into that. Thank you, dude. What compelled you to start posting on social media?
Uh, it first transpired when I was doing my music project, Triton. Um, and that was ended at like 2023. I was really posting a ton of content, like to drive traffic to my music. And then I determined it wasn't really a good fruit in my life. So then I kind of veered away from the music project and then started kind of coming back to Christ.
And then I realized I looked at my social media page and I had nothing on there about Christ. And I was like, Hmm, That was a big wake up call for me. So, yeah. So you wanted to make it in the music industry?
Yeah, I was slowly making my way up. I got to about like 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. I got like 8,000 on Insta and slowly was growing. Just determined it wasn't a good fruit. You can do music the right way. I just clearly wasn't. So, and then I turned and stopped from it. Were you making Christian music?
No, I was making really heavy electronic dance music, a lot of dubstep, psytrance, which not all of it's bad. It's just you got to use a lot of discernment in that. And I think over a long time, the Lord kind of showed me that the stuff I was making wasn't a good fruit in my life. Yeah, because that's a totally different lifestyle than what you got now.
Oh yeah. Yeah. And I do think you can go to music festivals. You can enjoy it, have a good time. And it's totally healthy in some areas, just not all. So a lot of the music I was creating, deal with a lot of like spirit of heaviness, anger, wrath, murder, all of this stuff. And yeah, it was later revealed to me down the road, but after I deleted it, but yeah, some heavy stuff, heavy stuff.
