A Kentucky gentleman is becoming parlyzed, and there seems to be no known cause! Colonel Beauregard has, "familar periodic paralysis." The closing theme has been deleted. Dr Gillespie has a bout of flu but Dr Kildare discovers what he really has is a bout of Barkleyitus. Benjamin Barkley is a cantankerous patient who has suffered from abdominal pains for years however when Dr Kildare examines him he suspects acute appendicitis and needs to persuade the cantankerous Barkley to undergo an operation.
