Tonight’s guest, Eric, is a 19-year-old college student, who is an aficionado of Historical European Martial Arts (also known as H.E.M.A.). H.E.M.A. is a martial art that focuses on mastering the use of medieval weaponry and armaments. Eric has been training for it for 2 1/2 years now. One day, while Eric was training in a state park, that’s about 2 hours from where he lives, something happened that he never would have expected.
