David reflects on that crime-drama masterpiece, especially how he maintains momentum on the nearly 100-issue irregular series, and how he balances creator-owned work with projects for major publishers like DC and Marvel. We also dive deep into his latest collaboration, Good As Dead, a haunting story of crime, justice, death, and small-town secrets that was developed from a pitch originated by Monarch: Legacy of Monsters creator Chris Black and producer David Alpert.
