Having discovered Jonathan's secret vampire-themed library, not to be confused with Lord Pembroke's secret werewolf-themed library which she discovered in the werewolf trilogy, Liz is convinced that Jessica's new love is a creature of the night. The cops may not believe her, but after spending a day in "cyberspace" Maria sure does - and the rest of the Sweet Valley gang are quickly convinced too! Will Jonathan have to flee a (literal) torch-wielding mob? And if so, will Jessica go with him? All this plus Bruce comes up with the most ridiculous scheme ever, Ned and Alice go out on the razz yet again and Elizabeth does a LOT of shrieking.
