Around a third of a person’s life is spent asleep. Previous studies have reported an association between sleep disordered breathing, like OSA, and pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm birth. We recently discussed a stillbirth bundle from Australia which includes patient education on sleeping practices and stillbirth risk. Does maternal sleeping position ready influence stillbirth risk?
