Kris Sweeting, founder of EMR-Tek, shares his knowledge and experience working with light therapy devices. At 3 years old Kris developed an autoimmune condition called vitiligo. He saw many medical doctors and naturopathic doctors and advice ranged from staying out of the sun and even using an umbrella to shield himself from the sunlight. By 9 years old the disease had spread to all regions of his body. His mother discovered a special doctor in Germany who specialized in light medicine and prescribed Narrowband Ultraviolet light therapy. By 14 years old pigment had returned except for hands and feet.
