Douglas is a sixty-seven-year-old retired healthcare professional who embarked on a successful weight loss journey after his mother's death. He lost around 70 pounds following a low-carb, intermittent fasting, and OMAD diet. Despite having normal A1C levels, his doctor insists he's diabetic due to his fasting glucose level. During this time, he was diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer and discovered a paraganglioma. The tumor was significantly reduced on Valentine's Day 2023.
