Chapter 4: What offensive issues did Duke face in the second half?
I thought our defense was spectacular on the night because they were able to keep Boston College in front of them, and when Boston College decided to get aggressive, we were able to protect the rim, we were able to steal the ball, we were able to pick off some passes, and otherwise just disrupt their flow. I thought that was terrific how we did it.
One other thing on the defense I want to mention is Duke forcing or allowing Boston College to do what Boston College likes to do, which is not a good thing, which is taking mid-range jumpers. Boston College attempted 16 shots from mid or long range two-point shots. 16 of them. It's just so many. Now, props to them. They hit seven of them.
